(26 mins)  Leaving one's country to immigrate to a new land only the start of the journey.  Another journey begins when one arrives.  In this film, three women share their stories about challenges they have faced since coming to Canada, and the supports that have helped them through their struggles. Directed by Valerie Bello, Anamaria de Cabellaros, Shamso Elmi, and Ming Hui Kong, this short film was produced as part of "Sharing Our Stories" - a community filmmaking project to build leadership skills for newcomer women in Hamilton, Ontario.  Sharing Our Stories was produced by SkyWorks Charitable Foundation in partnership with Hamilton's Immigrant Women's Centre, Community Centre for Media Arts, Good Shepherd, Hamilton Community Legal Clinic, Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion, and the Sexual Assault Centre Hamilton Area.
